Our Team
– We are qualified
• Most of our team members have firsthand experience with fire and firefighting through involvements with local fire departments.
• We are licensed and certified to operate in Ohio to install and maintain portable and automatic fire extinguishers, as well as, fixed fire suppression systems for commercial kitchens and spray booths.
• We are prepared to advise and assist in meeting legal requirements set by OSHA regulations, or special requirements by the state fire marshal, local authorities or jurisdictions, or insurance companies.

We offer the full spectrum of Amerex products and our stock includes: Dry Chemical, High Performance Dry Chemical, Wet Chemical, and Water Mist Hand Portable Fire Extinguishers.
Other Amerex products available include: Water and Foam Extinguishers and Class D Extinguishers for combustible metal fires.

If your home has fireplaces or if you heat with wood, we recommend a 10# ABC Dry Chemical for protection against chimney fires.

Commercial Services
Monthly or Annual inspections at your locations.
Experienced and qualified individuals will periodically (monthly or annually) visit your site to make sure that all fire protection and safety measures are current and in place, and to inspect and maintain the fire extinguishers at your place of business, community, or public location.
Recharging extinguishers
We have a team of qualified individuals who annually visit your site to inspect and maintain the fire extinguishers at your home, place of business, community, or public location. If needed, your fire extinguisher will be recharged and returned to your location. Another fire extinguisher will be left at your site while your extinguisher goes back to our shop and is recharged.
Hydrostatic testing
We are licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce — Division of State Fire Marshal and the Department of Transportation (DOT) to perform hydrostatic testing on fire extinguisher cylinders.
Hands-on corporate training
Holmes Fire and Safety Solutions offers local on-site, hands-on training for employees, in the use of hand portable fire extinguishers which is an OSHA (Ohio Safety and Health Administration) and insurance company requirement in many businesses.
